Who is the perfumer?

The perfume was developed by Parisian perfumer Mark Buxton. With more than 25 years of experience creating high-quality fragrances, Mark is one of the best perfumers in the world.

How high is the percentage of perfume oil?

Our Eau de Parfum contains 15% perfume oil and therefore lasts a long time on the skin.

Wie viele Sprühstöße brauche ich für ein optimales Dufterlebnis?

Für ein optimales Dufterlebnis empfehlen wir dir bei Vollgrößen je nach gewünschter Intensität 3-5 Sprühstöße an den Pulspunkten (z.B. am Handgelenk oder hinter dem Ohr) aufzutragen. Wir kriegen öfters das Feedback, dass unsere Tester aus dem Discovery Set intensiver seien als unsere Vollgrößen - aber keine Sorge, das Eau de Parfum in unseren Vollgrößen und Testern ist identisch. Tester werden jedoch häufig direkt und besonders nah an der Haut aufgetragen, wohingegen Parfums eher von einer größeren Entfernung aus aufgesprüht werden. Das kann dazu führen, dass der Duft auf der Haut intensiver wirkt, da er sich nicht in der Umgebungsluft verteilt.
Durch ihre geringere Befüllung und die kleinen, fest verschlossenen Tester-Flakons wird außerdem die Oxidation der Duftstoffe reduziert und somit die wahrgenommene Intensität erhöht.

Where is the perfume made and how is it shipped?

Each of our perfumes is handmade in Germany and sent to you CO2-neutrally via DHL.

How is the perfume packaged?

Our bottles are made in a small glassworks in Germany and sprayed by hand. The material for the packaging and the labels come from an Italian manufacturer and are printed with the utmost care by a Hamburg printing company. Every single bottle is filled and labeled by hand for you.

When we started the Brooklyn Soap Company in 2012, natural care was still largely living in health food shops. A little eco. A bit "yay". More like something our mums bought. But times have changed. Awareness of natural care has become younger, more urban and yes - more masculine.
